Serene Air finally launched its services after much fanfare in Pakistan. Its Boeing 737-800 was being considered as one of the most celebrated and innovative aircrafts in the history of Pakistan aviation, however after PIA we think that the Serene Management will also have to sacrifice goat to bud away evil eyes.
Recently, after its arrival to Islamabad’s Benazir International Airport from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, the airliner’s $50 million jet was stricken by a tow tug of Islamabad Ground Crew (Royal Airport Services). Soon after, the damage to aircraft’s body was reported and it was grounded.
As revealed by Serene Air’s spokesperson;
“A few immediate flights have been cancelled due to the incident. It may take a week to repair the damaged plane and bring back into the operations.”
Serene Air was granted a license to operate in Pakistan by Civil Aviation Authority in October 2016 and it began its flight operations on 29th January.
