Turn your LinkedIn profile into a winning pitch

Are your doing something just for the sake of you being obliged to do it? Spending day and night, worked up on something that doesn’t spark your energy or creativity, taking a toll on you? You might have missed the chance to do things way bigger than you are tend or forced to do. Professions are not built up on the sake of putting food on your table or keeping roof above your head, they are meant to solely reflect you as a person.

More than 50 per cent of the world’s population is indulged in a career, they never wanted to adopt at the first place. So, even though it may be a little late, here is a kickstart to the journey of turning your passion into profession:

WHAT EXACTLY IS YOUR PASSION?

Before I start, let me make it clear that there is a huge difference between passion and hobby. Your hobby can be your passion, but it necessarily need not to be your profession. Open your mind, explore all the possibilities. Brainstorm what you really want to do in your life, and make a plan if it is really feasible or not. Open yourself to suggestion and advices, remaining practical at the same time. Chart out all the talents you have and all those that can be adopted as a career.

DETERMINE THE SCOPE:

Let’s be practical, you never get things easily, most of the times. Do not plunge into a career which doesn’t have a diverse future surely mapped out in front of you. It’s good to be confident on your skills, but do not remain nimble to the possibilities of future haphazard and risks associated with the long-term startup or business employment.

Prepare, Plan and Pursue:

After you are done assessing the extent of feasibility associated with your passion, embark on the journey of discovering what needs to be done in order to make your life goal a reality. Form ideas to implement your plan, meet people who have already been there and have been able to make something out of their urge to succeed. Construct ideas and ways through which you can easily turn your dream profession into reality.

HIT THE ROAD:

Now, that you are done mapping out the future possibilities and ideas, it is time you hit the road. However, you have to be extremely careful and flexible as there will be bumps and ups & downs along the way. There are very few people who are lucky enough to easily get what they want. Turning your passion into a career requires endless amount of patient and non-stop stock of motivation. So, get ready for any sort of hardships along the way, but remain satisfied that you enjoy the sweetness of fruit more after you wait for it to ripen.

“THE ONE THING THAT YOU HAVE THAT NOBODY ELSE HAS IS YOU. YOUR VOICE, YOUR MIND, YOUR STORY, YOUR VISION. SO WRITE AND DRAW AND BUILD AND PLAY AND DANCE AND LIVE AS ONLY YOU CAN.”
