Today on 10th December, the world unitedly observes the official day for human rights – Human Rights Day.
The day commemorates on which, in 1948, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. And, in 1950 the Assembly passed the resolution, inviting all States and organizations interested to observe 10th December as ‘Human Rights Day’, every year.
Since then, multiple protests and marches are organized demanding that all humans deserve, with complete honour, their rights to live with freedom and dignity. With the beginning of 10th December 2016, people across the world have started posting updates and tweets regarding the day’s observance.
