Continuing their previous initiative of searching for the Internet geeks, Telenor Pakistan and Facebook have partnered together for hunting the web champion.
The second part of the knowledge based initiative – iChamp will involve a competition throughout the country among the school children. The Internet Champion being hunt from the young pioneers throughout the country will also be broadcasted through a reality TV show.
The launch ceremony of the event was held at a private school in Rawalpindi and bigwigs from Facebook and Telenor Pakistan attended it.
iChamp 2017 focuses on infusing the safe use and benefits of internet among the secondary schools going children and youth on a massive scale.
iChamp’s this year installment will also be boasted by social media giant Facebook’s Free Basics project, which aims to provide a free and unlimited access to fun and educational websites.
