Supreme Court issues final verdict in 'Panama Leaks' scandal

After the much hype created by Panama Leaks and the politicians attached with the scandal of overseas properties and alleged corruption, Supreme Court has finally issued the much-awaited verdict of this scandal.

The decision has been directed by Justice Aijaz Afzal, with the difference of three against two votes. The entire copy of the final decision is based on 540 pages. On the other hand, Justice Asif Saeed Khosa announced the final decision of the case. The three judges have sustained the PM while two have deferred him.

However, Supreme Court has ordered to form a Joint Interrogation Team to take the case further against the accusation of Hussain Nawaz and the money he spent on gifts for his father Nawaz Sharif. The JIT will begin with the preliminary and regular case charges against the people involved. The team will have to reveal the final decision after 60 days, with the regular transparency in the result after every two weeks.
