PIA CEO Bernd Hildenbrand has been included in the Exit Control List by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday.
As revealed through the sources, a committee has been set up against him to perform a deep inquiry of his alleged involvement in corruption.
Hildenbrand has been accused of purchasing aircrafts from Sri Lankan airlines in extraordinary prices. Due to this lavish purchase, PIA had to face the loss of several million dollars.
Deputy Director FIA Admin Lahore Khawaja Hammad ur Rehman has issued a notification in this regard, which has been posted throughout the airports around the country, indicating that Bernd Hildenbrand should not be allowed to leave the country at any expense.
