On 25th July, HMD Global has finally introduced the mid-range smartphone in the country. After launching Nokia 6 in China only a few weeks earlier, HMD Global has brought the brand name back to global market with the launch of Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 along with re-born Nokia 3310. During the grand event of mobile technologies — Mobile World Congress, Nokia is entering back to global market of smartphone devices.
The Nokia 5 is a dual SIM smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM. The phone comes with a 5.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. It measures 149.70 x 72.50 x 8 mm in dimensions.
Nokia 5 shares the same chipset Snapdragon 430 with its elder sibling Nokia 6 but the RAM is dropped to 2 GB. The phone packs 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card. IT runs Android 7.1.1 and is powered by a 3000 mAh non-removable battery. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia 5 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
