As i write this blog, all I want to say is that whatever I am today or all I hope to be; i owe it to my mother.
Historically, the role of a woman was confined to being a mother or a wife; with women being expected to dedicate most of their energy to these roles and to spend most of their time taking care of the home, even if they work.
All religions define mothers through either religious laws or through their glorification. A mother’s love – a norm we always use, in fact, this is where I cut in! A mother’s love – the type you’ll see and be moved, the type that can never be compromised, the type you will get and never want to leave, the type if you miss having, can never be replaced. A true love! A mother’s love.
As per Islam, Allah loves the best of His creations the most – the human being. Allah loves humans seventy times more than a mother. There is only one love with whom God can resemble his love to and that is a Mother.
A mother will often forget to make a prayer for herself because she will be too busy in making prayers for her children. Never be ashamed of crying in front of your mother, she is the only true best friend you will ever have, you are the flesh of her flesh, she knows you more than you know yourself.
The lap of a mother is the heaven on earth, the touch of love she has for her children even in the womb, as revealed by a research that babies respond when their mother’s bellies are touched.
Mother’s love knows no law, it dares all the things and crushes all that stands in its path. Nothing is lost if you have your mother with you. Who ran to help you when you fall and kiss the place to make it well? There is only one name that springs in my mind.
A Home is just a house, its the mother’s love that makes it a home. I believe in love at first sight, because I fell in love with my mother since the day I opened my eyes.
