Most of the people in Pakistan still don’t value handwashing; which can save lives.
Unilever Pakistan, through Lifebuoy, started celebrating the Global Handwashing day, in 2008. The day is now being acknowledged in more than 100 countries around the world. Through its mission to eradicate unhealthiness and promote hygiene, Lifebuoy aims to make a profound impact on the health of billions of lives, around the world.
The event is currently being graced by the celebrated names of the industry including the heartthrob Fahad Mustafa, charming Anoushey Ashraf, cute Saira Kabeer, mischievous Yasir Hussain and the ever-green Adnan Siddiqui.
Lifebuoy, in all its grandeur, is encouraging people to #High5forhandwashing. People, from across Karachi, are flocking in large numbers to attend the event and to make a history on the occasion of handwashing day. For each High5 collected, Lifebuoy aims to inculcate the healthy habit of handwashing with soap by teaching them the importance of washing their hands at key occasions, before meals and after the restroom.
The step by Lifebuoy to inculcate such an inventiveness and creativity to inspire people for a good habit deserves appreciation and ovation from the Pakistani public.
