Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to have first 'Girls Cadet College'

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has witnessed a lot of progressive changes under the regime of PTI led by Imran Khan. Despite of ups and downs & political turmoil, there are many innovative reforms currently underway by the KP Government.

In its quest to make quality education available and equal for all, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is all set to inaugurate the first ever ‘Cadet College for Girls’.

It has been revealed that about 100 female students will be enrolled in the maiden session, starting from 2017, but the quota will gradually increase.

Moreover, PTI management has also announced that funds amounting to Rs. 3 billion have been allocated for the first academic session.

The detailed construction of the college premises is currently underway in Mardan – the headquarter district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

For now, the institute will start its initial functioning in the provincial metropolis on temporary basis, and later it would be shifted to Mardan.
