A guy was playing Tic-Tac-Toe with his 9 year old son. He beat him in nine games straight and finally said; “I am bored son, I am off to sleep” but the son replied; “No, you can’t go now Dad”, he asked “Why?” and the nine year old said; “It’s not over until I win.”
This attitude made him win his 12th game after the continuous struggle and then he yawned and said; “Now I am sleepy”. What if all of us take that attitude after a rejection; you have to say it to yourself that it’s not over until I win.
It is very important to hold on to something, there are moments when you are going to doubt yourself, rough times are going to come but they are not here to stay forever, they have come to pass. Don’t say I’m having a bad day, instead say I am having a character building day. Strength grows in those moments when you think you can’t go on further.
There are no failures only learning, failure is the mother of all success. You know that all we can do is to learn and become better, bigger and stronger. Obstacles will come in your way but they are designed to make you stronger, only the weak avoid them. It’s time to put the pieces together of your character puzzle. We all fall down in life; the question is who gets up back? It’s not the potential of the individual, it’s not the genetics, it’s the “Perseverance”. It’s about how much you can take and keep moving forward in life. This is what winners do!
