After the launch of the new auto policy 2016-21, countless reports have been making news that various automobile companies are hinting to open business and invest in Pakistan. Well the news is not far from becoming a reality.
According to sources, companies namely; Zotye, JAC and Foton are planning to board investment in Pakistan, while the latest addition to this list is Brilliance Auto.
According to Business Recorders, a committee of leading Chinese automobile financiers, including Brilliance Auto, which is the venture partner of BMW in China, were on an official trip to Pakistan. The spokesman of Brilliance Auto said that the Chinese financiers are preparing to widen their business network in Pakistan. He said:
“We plan to build automobile assembly plants in a number of countries, such as Pakistan. We are engaged in setting our sights in foreign markets. Building assembly plant in Pakistan will enable us to explore the Pakistan market faster then direct vehicle exports; we are looking at CPEC as a great opportunity.”
