Pakistan’s women Cricket team made its One Day International (ODI) debut around 20 years ago in 1997, against New Zealand, and later they also played in the World cup of 1997 in India. In early years, Team Pakistan was not as strong as other top-level women’s teams. It did not qualify for another World Cup until the 2009 event in Australia. However, the team has played in all four editions of the Women’s World Twenty20 to date, and also participated in the Women Asia cup and several other tournaments.
Team Pakistan is a part of ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 and is set to play against team India today at 2:30 PM. Both the teams are ready to perform in Derby. We wish best of luck to the captain, Sana Mir and the entire team.
