After getting muddled by Yes’ and No’s, the first foreign Pakistan Super League player has finally given a go ahead to participate in the finals in Lahore, Pakistan despite of the deadly Lahore attack on 13th February 2017. Giving the green flag to attend the finals, the legendary New Zealand cricketer Brendon McCullum has finally decided to visit Pakistan if PSL is organized in the country.
Brendon McCullum in his recent statement said that if Lahore Qalandars qualify for the league’s finale, he will definitely visit the country no matter what.
“There’s no doubt about that. I mean, I will go Lahore at any rate, if Lahore qualify for the finals,” states McCullum.
Brendon McCullum is the first player to give the green signal to visit Pakistan after Lahore blast on 13th. All the international players negated to the visit soon after the incident happened, and since then PSL and PCB management was unable to decide if the finals will be held in Lahore or not.
However, it seems that with Brendon deciding to support Qalandars in the finals we can expect the same enthusiasm from other teams as well.
