According to latest sports updates, Leisure Leagues has arranged a date with Brazilian football star and legend Ronaldinho, who is said to visit the country sometime soon.
Ronaldinho, 36, is a 2002 FIFA World Cup winner with his national team and is also known for his major achievements during his club career with Barcelona and Paris-Saint Germain.
With speculations on the run, it is said that Ronaldinho is going to be a part of an exhibition match in Leisure Leagues Pakistan’s attempt to promote football nationwide.
On the mentioned run through, Pakistan national football players Kaleemullah, captain Hassan Bashir and women’s team captain Hajra Khan, praised the launch of the Leisure Leagues in Pakistan.
“Leisure Leagues is a very positive step as it will help unearth players who can represent Pakistan in the future,” said Kaleemullah. “We desperately need a league system as that would help groom the youth into professional footballers.”
“The best thing is that anyone can play these leagues and that will give a lot of opportunities to many people to showcase their skills,” he said.
