“Finds My iPhone” – Finds the Dead

Carla Melendez used the Find My iPhone software to find Ramiro Acosta, 23, after he failed to come home on Wednesday night. The popular app said he was by an area of woodland in North Harris County, Texas – about 30 minutes from their house.

After driving to the location, a stunned Melendez found Acosta’s lifeless body had been dumped by the side of the road. Melendez, whose partner reportedly had ties to gangs, said: “I just wanted him to wake up.”Lord knows how long he had been laying there.”

Addressing Acosta’s killer, she added: “You don’t know how much pain you’ve caused us.”He didn’t deserve to be thrown like this, like a dog in the street.”
