Are you an Android Facebook user? Facebook has added a sneaky second hidden news feed that you had no idea about, till now. The social networking giant is currently working on the “Explore” feed feature, which is nearly same as that of Instagram’s explore option.
Facebook’s explore feed contains the content and data from all those pages, which a particular user hasn’t liked, but the bot from Facebook thinks that they might like it. For now, the feature is being tested on the beta version of the app on Android phones. However, some iOS users have also reported on observing this feature.
If the second news feed is finally selected to be showcased after all the testing, users will be given two options at the bottom: “Home” and “Explore”.
The Home tab will consists of all the posts, uploads and shared data from friends and family, while the Explore tab will incorporate the Facebook’s potential capabilities to come up with the data that could be intriguing for the particular user.
It is currently not known when will this feature be made available for the users worldwide. However, with the feature being tested on both iOS and Android we can expect it to roll globally soon.
