The devastating crash of PIA flight PK661 that left 48 passengers killed along with the singer turned preacher, Junaid Jamshed, has raised mixed emotions from across the world on social media.
Accepting the fact that Junaid Jamshed had been a target for communities regarding his style of belief and preaching Islam; continuing bashful comments after his death is clearly despicable and ruthless.
As soon as the news of Junaid’s death went viral, those illiterate and so-called Muslims indulged into spreading unethical comments, without taking charge of morality brigade.
Some took the deceased for being a “terrorist” and other a “blasphemer”, whereas others posted hatred with tweets and status’, calling the deceased a religious fanatic and a misogynist or ‘sexist’.
Unfortunately, we have forgotten that life and death is only by Allah and He is to decide who is who. Why can’t we stop accusing or bashing a person even after his death? Are we even human? Or have we forgotten that there is an entity that decides whose who, instead of taking things public and claiming the final verdict of the deceased! Whatever the reason may be, this for sure is something highly illiterate and unacceptable even if it was for an enemy.
