A purported Daesh terrorist has been killed in Rawalpindi by Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), while his abettor fled the scene and the attempt to catch him was left in vain.
A forewarning had been provided by a highly confidential source which indicated a hideout to CTD; which upon raid was found out to be efficient. The terrorists started to hurl hand grenades and firing at the police during the patrol, which left two CTD recruits hurt.
The injured CTD personnel were soon rushed to a local hospital for treatment. The deceased assailant was identified as Ahsan Satti, while his accomplice who escaped was identified as Imran Satti.
As per the claims, CTD has recovered rifle, pistols, cartridges and LEDs from the hideout. The terrorists had intentions to attack various places in Rawalpindi.
