Austria’s government has decided to ban full-face veil in public places and those not abiding by the decision will face strict government action.
The move has been taken to get rid of the rising Muslim approach through anti-Islam Freedom Party. Different proposals have been sent throughout the country to bar Muslim females from veiling their faces in public.
Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern stated; “The full-face veil will be banned in public spaces,” the orders have been signed to get implemented within the next 18 months.
He further stated that he wanted to avoid “giving 600,000 Muslims in Austria the feeling that they are not part of our society”.
“Those who are not prepared to accept Enlightenment values will have to leave our country and society,” mentions the bill passed by government.
