Children’s Painting Competition organized by Jazz in partnership with Islamabad Traffic Police

Jazz Children Painting Competition was held at “Shakarparian Open Air Theater”, Islamabad. The competition’s objective was to enhance awareness about road safety and traffic rules between school children.

This event is held every year to observe the students using their imagination to visually represent critical ideas relate to road safety through paintings. This year other activities were also included which were, singing competition and magic shows.

There were more than 1000 students who participated in the competition, belonging from Government and Private schools and colleges of Islamabad. Tariq Masood Yasin (Inspector General of Police) was also part of the event, in order to support the children.

Special Children were also a part of this competition, who shared their view on the need for road safety designed specifically for those which special needs.

While appreciating the artistic skills of the school children, Omar Manzur, Head of Corporate Communications – Mobilink said,

“Traffic rules are of paramount importance, as they are in place to safeguard one’s life on the road. Increasingly, you witness traffic accidents which take away precious lives. Our goal is to raise awareness, especially amongst the youth, regarding road safety and traffic rules, so we are able to prevent such incidents in the future.”

At the end of the competition children who came in top three from different categories were awarded;
