On the morning of 16th December, 2014, teachers and students of the Army Public School Peshawar had just returned to their classes after recess; when the nightmare unfolded.
Students were gathered in the large auditorium, attentively listening to a lecture, while others sat at their desks with eyes on the clock instead of the blackboard, silently urging for the day to end so they could go home. Unfortunately, never did they imagine that the bell for home would never ring for them again!
Today, after two years of the tragic event, not a single person can forget what happened with gushing tears and heartaches. Marking the second anniversary and bringing into account the 144 lives of courage and sadness, their absence will be forever painful and always remembered.
Words can never describe our feelings of that day. We will never forget – Army Public School Peshawar Attack.
